I haven't blogged for a long time because the web tool on this site is cumbersome and I'm a fairly impatient person. A few things have happened in the past four months: I took up Tae-Bo to shave off a few pounds and get more fit, and I've been at it ...most of the time...since January. Haven't lost a pound. But I feel good and I can count to eight with a really cool beat.
Bob and I traveled to Louisiana in January to say goodbye to his long-time secretary Kenney Lafitte who passed away. Her husband Chuck was a close friend of Bob's for many years, and we were glad to be with him.
I caught a bug on the plane home from Louisiana that knocked me out for over three weeks. Then I traveled to Tucson, Arizona for a sister's reunion the weekend of President's Day. We had a great time driving around Southern Arizona, shopping in Tubac, wandering through wineries, and scrap-booking. My brother Duane was kind enough to share an intestinal illness with me, so the trip home was touch and go. Literally. Mom gave me some anti-nausea medication used for cancer patients that got me through the Denver airport and into Great Falls. Hard way to diet.
My oldest daughter Emily has taken up running and is training for a marathon. She describes the grueling work she is putting in on her very entertaining MySpace blog. Our youngest, Nancy, is attending classes here at MSU-Great Falls and keeps an equally fun blog on MySpace. She's a budding artist and was featured in the latest issue of her college newspaper
