It is interesting to me that the disciple Luke reports his account of Jesus' life much like a journalist -- he doesn't editorialize and pronounce judgment on the people involved, nor does he sermonize and tell us what to think of the events or the people in the story. He just tells the story.
Luke watched the crucifixion of his friend Jesus, put to death at the hands of his enemies, and was still able to write it down from a detached view - an objective view. I can't even tell about a conflict with another Christian without including all my emotional responses.
I wonder what life would be like if we stuck to "just the facts ma'am."
